We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics and metals from households and businesses, and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging.

**Role Details**:
**Location**:Laverton, Vic
**Roster**:Rotating Afternoon and Night shift, Monday to Friday with OT and weekend work available
**Afternoon shift**:3pm - 11pm***
**Night Shift**:11pm - 7am

**Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your key outcomes will be to;**
- Carry out mechanical repairs to equipment and facilities as directed by Maintenance Supervisor
- Utilize the site Computerized maintenance management system to record work history and enter follow up work requests
- Provide coordination of internal and external resources for mechanical maintenance or capital projects as directed by Supervisor
- Be compliant and participate in safe work process such as stop and thinks, JSEA creation, SWP development, hazard reporting, safety interaction talks, standard maintenance work development, toolbox discussions
- Perform preventative and reactive type mechanical maintenance work on plant and equipment to ensure that it is safe to operate, available for operation when required and meets all regulatory/compliance requirements
- Perform incidental and breakdown mechanical type maintenance work as required
- Utilise the site Asset Management System “IFS” to create fault orders and record work history
- Actively participate in all lean manufacturing/maintenance activities such as PM development, spare parts management, improvement projects

**What You Will Bring**:

- Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting/Boiler Maker/Fitter and Turner
- Previous experience in a Recycling environment
- Work experience maintaining comparable plant and equipment within a fast past working environment
- Work experience within a process manufacturing environment team
- Demonstrated skills in the required trade disciplines
- Understanding and working knowledge of process control logic, i.e. PLCs, motor control
- Hydraulic system exposure and efficient fault finding skills
- Rigger Certificate an advantage or willingness to get a Riggers Certificate
