Position Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Contractor in the Education and Training sector, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education. Based in Perth, Australia, you will leverage your 5 to 10 years of experience to provide exceptional training and support as an education assistant. Your expertise in managing IT infrastructure and applications will be crucial, as you serve as the Subject Matter Expert across various platforms. You will be responsible for maintaining on-premises IT infrastructure, provisioning training on software usage, and ensuring adherence to IT policies. Your strong SQL skills and ability to communicate effectively will enhance team collaboration and problem-solving. About The Role

  • Lead and manage the development and delivery of training programs for education assistants, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
  • Oversee the maintenance and management of on-premises IT infrastructure and devices, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) across several applications, providing guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and best practices are followed.
  • Provide training on software usage and IT policies to education assistants and other staff members, enhancing their technical skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve problems, ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement.
  • Utilize strong SQL skills to manage and analyze data, supporting decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting effective communication and organizational success.

About the candidate

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in education and training, with a proven track record as an education assistant.
  • Expertise in providing training and managing IT infrastructure, including maintaining on-premises IT infrastructure and devices.
  • Experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across several applications, with strong SQL skills.
  • Proficiency in provisioning training on software usage and IT policies.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
