Manage remediation projects including blast & paint, concrete repair and structural integrity from initial setup through to completion for Duratec's tier 1 mining clients.

THE ROLE

  • Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
  • Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project
  • Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
  • Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
  • Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues
  • Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program
  • Involvement with tendering/estimation
  • Travel to mine sites and support team
  • Client and stakeholders management
  • Manage self perform crews and improve efficiencies
  • Manage Multiple projects
  • Create and modify ITP's and SWMS
  • Raise RFI's and track responses

ABOUT YOU

You are a positive front-line leader and have previous experience of approximately 5 years in an on-site management role along with;

  • Experience in mining, plant maintenance and shutdowns
  • Experience in blast and paint, concrete repair and other remediation projects
  • You can coordinate and deliver complex shutdown of works
  • Program and planning skills
  • Proficiency in managing budgets and cost control
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and subcontractor management

Qualifications and Requirements

  • White Card
  • Drivers Licence
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction or Engineering
