About the Role

As a Mechanical Engineer at DCI Data Centers, you will play a pivotal role in designing and reviewing mechanical systems for mission-critical data centre projects. This position involves developing technical documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors, and driving innovative solutions that enhance energy efficiency and sustainability. You'll work on complex, multi-region projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards while delivering high-performance infrastructure that supports the digital economy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical engineering design and review for data centre projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards and operational goals.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and scope of work (SOW) for multi-region projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors on bid evaluations, RFI responses, and project execution to meet timelines and budget.
  • Drive innovation in energy efficiency and sustainability, advising on upgrades, compliance, and long-term infrastructure strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or Professional Engineer (PE) license, PMI certificate desirable.
  • Minimum 10+ years in mission-critical facility design (data centres).
  • Proficiency in CAD software, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
