About Us:

Intercast & Forge is Australia's largest Independent Iron Foundry and market leader in its industry sector, supplying Australian and global rail, automotive and general engineering industries from our Adelaide production facility.

About the Role:

Are you looking for a multi-faceted position to get more out of your skills and experience?  Then this is an opportunity for you to join our multi skilled team managed by the Financial Controller.  With our continued growth we are looking for an experience Bookkeeper ideally with experience within the manufacturing sector.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Complete AR function including credit notes, collections, invoicing, and cash flow forecast (receipts side)
  • Assist in reconciliation of ledger accounts
  • Assist in the processing of customer orders, during absences of other personnel or as required
  • Produce accurate and timely reports to predetermined timetables
  • Prepare reports and supporting documentation in accordance with the monthly timetable
  • Be the backup for payroll function for weekly and monthly paid employees, end to end
  • Liaise with Credit Insurer with regards to managing current limits
  • Enter Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) statistics on a monthly basis
  • Assisting in completing bank reconciliations when required

Skills & Experience:

  • (5) years' experience in a bookkeeping/accounting role including payroll experience,
  • Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with customers both commercially and financial,
  • Previous exposure to accounting software & Excel.
  • Syteline and Micropay experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • Team player and willing to be involved in all aspects of the business.
