About the role
We are seeking a part-time HR & Bookkeeper to join our team at Para Hills Residential Care in Para Hills West, South Australia. In this role, you will contribute to the overall success of our organisation by providing essential HR and bookkeeping support. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the benefits of a flexible part-time work arrangement.
Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and maintain employee records
- Assist with the review of our existing HR policies and procedures
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
- Perform bookkeeping tasks such as accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and tax compliance in MYOB
- Collaborate with the on site Proprietor to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Contribute to continuous improvement
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a combined HR and bookkeeping role, preferably in the aged care or healthcare industry
- Minimum 5+ years of combined HR and bookkeeping experience is required
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and Australian employment laws
- Advanced expertise in Australian employment laws is required
- Proficient in the use of MYOB, WAGELOCH and HR information systems
- Advanced features proficiency in MYOB is required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with employees at all levels
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards
