We're seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join a dynamic team in a fully remote capacity.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in bookkeeping, particularly from a public practice or accounting firm environment.
Your new role
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing a range of bookkeeping functions across multiple clients. You'll work independently, ensuring accuracy and compliance across payroll, BAS preparation and lodgement, and general bookkeeping duties.
- End-to-end bookkeeping for multiple clients
- Payroll processing and reporting
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Liaising with clients and external stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 years' senior bookkeeping experience
- Preferred experience working in an accounting firm or public practice
- Strong understanding of payroll, BAS, and compliance requirements
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks)
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and with occasional visits to the office as needed for team collaboration or client meetings.
