We're seeking a proactive and organised Asset Management Officer to join our Facilities team. In this vital role, you'll help ensure our campuses are safe, secure, and well-maintained. From managing preventative maintenance schedules to overseeing contractors and supporting sustainability initiatives, you'll play a key part in keeping our learning environment running smoothly.

  • Assist with onsite and out-of-hours security, on-call duties (every third week), access control, Alarm systems, and physical security requirements.
  • Utilise advanced digital tools and systems to manage assets, schedule maintenance, and support data-driven decision-making across multiple campuses.
  • Maintain and update asset registers and maintenance schedules
  • Coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and lifecycle planning
  • Supervise contractors and manage site inductions and permits

The must haves

Mandatory requirements

  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in asset management, contractor supervision, and maintenance systems
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach
  • A current Victorian Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check

Highly Desirable

  • Certificate III in Asset Maintenance or relevant trade qualifications
  • Experience in education, construction, or facilities management
  • Forklift or Light Rigid licence (or willingness to obtain)
