Reporting to the Group Procurement Manager ACC is seeking a Procurement Manager to support our end-to-end procurement function, driving stock management, supplier performance, and cost-effective purchasing strategies that service our food manufacturing and maintenance operations. 

Leading a small team, you will require the experience to foster a positive team culture, provide clear direction and insights to managing a successful tea

The ideal candidate will:

  • Lead and manage the Procurement & Stores team.
  • Have strong negotiation skills and the ability to respectfully challenge processes and ideas.
  • Have the ability to work in high pressured environments and problem solve accordingly.
  • Manage multiple customer requirements and be able to demonstrate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies for direct and indirect materials.
  • Ensure compliance, quality assurance, and operational excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support animal welfare, environmental, and safety standards
  • Demonstrate leadership abilities, with the capacity to mentor and develop team members.
  • Service-driven with a 'customer first' attitude.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in a similar procurement role, ideally in FMCG or related industries.
  • Experience with systems like JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle Cloud, or Protrace.
  • Strong self-management, customer focus, and prioritisation skills.
  • Relevant industry certifications are advantageous
