**About the role**:
Our procurement team has a newly created role of Strategic Sourcing Lead. This role is instrumental to align the procurement strategies with the organisation’s mission, values, and overarching objectives. This position leads the ethical, sustainable, and efficient sourcing of goods and services that will optimise value for money, maintain supply continuity, and deliver long-term cost and service improvements for Endeavour Foundation and the people we support.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer this role is based at the Cannon Hill Support Office. You will oversee and manage a small team within the Finance, Infrastructure and Lotteries division. Day to day in this role you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop strategic vendor partnerships whilst manage the contracts with suppliers for optimisation of performance and scorecards.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement a procurement strategy aligned with organisational objectives, ensuring sourcing activities support commercial goals and risk management.
- Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers that prioritise social value, inclusion, and accessibility.
- Oversee efficient sourcing, purchasing, and handling of raw materials to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with operational needs.
- Establish and manage supplier performance indicators that uphold accountability and align with the organization's values.
- Identify and address inefficient contracts, developing strategies for expedited exits to minimise losses.
- Execute sourcing strategies that deliver significant cost savings and foster innovation.
- Work closely with business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement, seeking regular feedback to drive decision-making and prioritize actions.
**About you**:**
- Tertiary qualification in the relevant discipline (i.e. Business, Commerce, Law, Procurement & Supply Chain etc).
- Minimum 10 years demonstrated experience in procurement and experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of ethical and sustainable procurement practices, particularly related to social procurement and supplier diversity initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills to ensure clear and concise information is presented to stakeholders and strong working relationships are maintained.
- Highly adaptable and flexible with the ability to adjust quickly to new situations
- and changing priorities.
- High-level problem solving, data analysis, and solution development skills.
- Strong technology literacy (DocuSign / CLM software/ Excel / Power BI & other platforms).
- Hold or Willing to obtain: NDIS Card, Blue Card and Police check
