Due to a period of sustained growth, Ballarat Solar Company are excited to welcome a new Sales Manager with solar sales experience to join their thriving business.

The Role

The Sales Manager position will see you play a key role in the ongoing success of Ballarat Solar Company. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will work closely with clients to assess and provide solutions for their solar, battery and off-grid needs. You will act as a key point of contact for end-to-end sales support, maintain relevant CRM systems, identify and follow-up new business leads and nurture all new and existing client relationships.  

This role is designed with professional development and growth in mind would be suitable for an experienced solar salesperson looking to take their first step into a management role or, an experienced Sales Manager who has the ability to lead teams and manage business development.

Duties

  • Complete end-to-end sales process from initial enquiry through to installation and after-sales support.
  • Conduct client needs assessments and provide tailored renewable energy solutions.
  • Undertake contract negotiations, pricing structures, and service agreements.
  • Coordinate with the Scheduling Coordinator to ensure seamless delivery of projects
  • Maintain CRM systems ensuring all information is current and accurate
  • Uphold ethical, authentic selling practices that align with the company's values

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in solar, renewable energy or related industries
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Strong computer and administrative skills
  • A positive and proactive approach to work
  • Motivated to grow business, for the benefit of all involved
