With attractions that include jousting tournaments, wizardry, knights' battles, and dragon's lairs, complemented by a variety of on-site accommodation options, Kryal Castle is a landmark of entertainment and hospitality in Victoria.

The Castle has seen significant growth in visitor numbers and revenue, and we're now looking for a driven Sales Executive to take our commercial results to the next level.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a hands-on, commercially minded Sales Executive to lead all sales activity across Accommodation, Education, and Events. This is a proactive sales role focused on generating new business, building relationships, and closing deals — not just waiting for leads to come in.

The ideal candidate will bring energy, initiative, and a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales across three core business areas:

  • Accommodation: Increase occupancy through direct and group bookings.

  • Education: Grow school excursion bookings and partnerships with educational institutions.
  • Events: Sell private functions, weddings, corporate retreats, and special events.
  • Develop and execute a quarterly sales plan with measurable targets for each area.
  • Build strong relationships with schools, tourism operators, corporate clients, and travel agencies.
  • Respond quickly to inbound leads while focusing on outbound prospecting and follow-ups.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns and convert enquiries into bookings.
  • Maintain accurate reporting on leads, conversions, and revenue.
  • Represent Kryal Castle at industry events, expos, and tourism networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the operations and events teams to ensure smooth handover of booked events and group stays.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and partnerships to extend Kryal Castle's reach.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a sales role, ideally within hospitality, tourism, or events.
  • Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and confidence in presenting to clients.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline from enquiry to close.
  • Well-organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
  • Ability to multitask across several business segments.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, booking platforms, or event management software. NewBook is an advantage.
