The Position:
GenTech Seeds is seeking to appoint a Territory Sales Manager to continue to build close commercial relationships with resellers, influencers and producers within a key Victorian territory that covers the Western Districts through to Horsham and the West Wimmera.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Manager will focus on the following duties:
- Actively promoting, recommending and selling Pioneer products
- Connecting with the farmer network and ensuring all customer activity is correctly tracked
- Working with resellers across the territory to develop, monitor and implement business plans and forecasting reports
- Representing the business and brand at relevant industry functions and field days
- Working closely with management, internal Specialist and the Victorian team, to ensure that activity is aligned across the group
The Person:
We are keen to talk to you if you possess the following experience, skills and key personal attributes:
- 5+ years' sales experience within the agricultural industry, including an understanding of the reseller network and partnering across the supply chain to end-users
- Experience working within a similar territory and relevant agronomic issues
- Sound commercial acumen with well-developed and proven sales skills
- A positive and proactive team player
- Tertiary qualifications in agriculture preferred, although candidates with proven industry experience will be highly regarded
- Well-developed and effective communicator

This role will require regular travel across your assigned territory, with the suitable candidate ideally located in a central location to service the region.
