About the Position

This role requires the expertise of a Security Service Technician, and or a professional with an Electrical trades background seeking to expand on their knowledge, of course exposure to Security Equipment Servicing with a commercial lean, will hold you in good stead. If your keen to branch out and learn a new vertical,we will do the rest, in further developing your skills in our specialist industry,

This position provides a unique opportunity to work within predominately commercial sites throughout VIC. In this role you will utilize your knowledge, whilst growing your skills in electronic security.

You will be trained and ultimately required to, maintain, and troubleshoot security systems, including intruder alarms, access control and CCTV, together with providing services for our systems on sites that offers their own challenges.

We will provide:

• Full training in security systems will be provided to upskill your knowledge.
• We will work with your basic network knowledge and develop your existing experienced in commercial servicing

This is not a domestic alarms or basic install role.

This opportunity is for an individual ready to level up into specialist industry

Your responsibilities will involve:

• Service responsibilities on various commercial and some limited residential sites , (as a fully supported member of the team you will be trained and mentored to become an expert in electronic security)
• System checks and fault finding ability is essential to success in this role.
• Security Regulations and Standards: Familiarity with industry-specific regulations standards and compliance requirements to ensure installations meet legal and regulatory expectations.

Requirements:

• Service experience ( Commercial based )
• Service experience specifically with security systems in commercial environments
• Electrical trade qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Security Lic
• Cablers license
• Cablers licence can be obtained after hiring
• Driver's License
• Construction White Card or Relevant State Construction card (prepared to secure)
• Have or have the ability obtain WWCC (Working with Children Check) NV1 (Security clearance).
