We're looking for a Transport Scheduler to join our team based in Braeside for a fixed term contract until the end of June 2026 with the opportunity to be extended or made permanent for the right candidate depending on team movements. You will be responsible for managing all the transport requirements related to customer deliveries, returns and the movement of fleet.

What you'll do:

  • Planning and coordinating all transport activities related to customer deliveries, returns, and fleet movements
  • Ensure timely, cost-effective, and safe operations
  • Be assigned to the 9:00am – 5:30pm shift (Mon-Wed in the Braeside office, Thurs-Fri working from home)
  • Create cost-effective and optimized transport plans
  • Manage transport requirements aligned with vendor agreements
  • Maintain detailed transport records for performance analysis and notify customers of delivery times and pass on additional charges if applicable
  • Organize inter-company equipment transport, utilizing backloads and consolidated loads
  • Monitor vendor performance and escalate failures when necessary
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and cost reallocations efficiently and file all relevant documentation accurately

To thrive in this role, you'll have the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in transport planning, ideally 3+ years
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and ERP systems
  • Customer Focus and excellent communication skills with a focus on creative solutions
  • Acute accuracy in work
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment
  • Able to multi-task and have strong time management
  • The initiative to seek out information and be firm on non-compliance
  • Be collaborative, decisive, and result-oriented with the ability to self-direct and manage
  • Be available for a fixed term contract until June 2026
