We are seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator or Manager, who takes pride in what they do. This is more than just a job… It is a chance to be part of an exciting, rapidly growing organisation with a big vision for the future.
Key responsibilities for the position include:
o Management of transport and logistics for our Swimming Pools and Spas across Victoria, South Australia and QLD
o Maintenance & servicing of plant & equipment and transport vehicles in line with company and legislative requirements
o Respond to phone & email queries from drivers, manufacturing, construction teams and relevant stakeholders as required.
o Responsible for all transport administration
o Ensuring all employee licencing is up to date and in line with company and legislative requirements (e.g. forklift, crane licencing etc)
o Overseeing quality control processes and procedures in line with company standards
o Responsible for OH&S and Safety polices & procedures in line with company and legislative requirements
o Work with production department to ensure scheduling is being achieved for despatch
o Create and maintain relevant operational documentation to reflect current procedures
o Implementation of process improvement
o Any additional duties as instructed by a senior manager
Requirements for the position include:
o Prior experience in transport and logistics is required
o Ability to clearly communicate with staff, suppliers and customers of the business
o Ability to handle multiple tasks with priority listing
o Excellent organisational and time management skills
o The ability to quickly build rapport with a range of people;
o High level accuracy and attention to detail
o Enthusiastic and professional disposition
