SUMMARY:

Opportunity for a Senior Legal Counsel to join a global healthcare organisation for an initial 3-month part-time (4 days) engagement.

THE COMPANY:

This global healthcare organisation provides a wide range of medical products and services. It is part of a large global network with a strong APAC presence and a professional working environment.

THE ROLE:

You will provide legal support across commercial and operational matters, including contract negotiation and drafting. This contract opportunity is based in Western Sydney with hybrid working available.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts to support operations.
  • Advise stakeholders on contractual rights, obligation,s and risk management.
  • Guide compliance with privacy law and healthcare sector regulatory requirements.
  • Work with cross‑functional teams on projects and strategic initiatives.

ABOUT YOU:

  • 10+ years' post-qualification experience in commercial law
  • Experience in both private practice and in-house legal roles
  • Skilled in negotiating and drafting a range of commercial agreements
  • Ideally, exposure to privacy law matters
  • Experience in the healthcare sector or another highly regulated industry is advantageous
  • Able to work effectively in a large organisation and manage diverse stakeholder expectations
  • Strong communication skills and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
