Senior Legal Counsel - Employment at G2 Legal, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Exciting opportunity for a dynamic employment lawyer in an expanding listed company with international operations. Working in a high-calibre, collegiate in-house team you will be handling a range of work including contentious and non-contentious employment law matters as well as some broader commercial work and disputes. The company is looking to make a difference and offers career progression and flexibility.
Responsibilities- Handle a range of employment law matters (contentious and non-contentious).
- Contribute to broader commercial work and disputes.
- Work within a high-calibre, collegiate in-house team.
The successful candidate will have at least 5 years pae in Employment Law from a major law firm and, potentially, also in-house or on secondment. You will be a strong communicator, smart and keen to learn new skills and develop your career. You will be commercially minded and eager to develop relationships across the business.
Qualifications- At least 5 years post-qualification experience in Employment Law
- Experience from a major law firm; in-house or secondment is a plus
- Strong communicator, commercially minded, relationship-focused
- Growing listed company with international operations
- Variety of complex work
