A NetSuite Project Manager sits within our Business Advisory Team as a consultant specialising in ERP Project Management You will lead the delivery of ERP and FSM projects, ensuring our clients achieve their business goals through effective solutions. In this role, you'll collaborate with our implementations teams to optimise project outcomes and enhance client satisfaction.

- Lead and manage ERP and FSM project delivery from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with clients to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines tailored to their specific needs.
- Guide cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with client goals.
- Identify and evaluate potential risks unique to client projects, implementing strategies to mitigate impact on outcomes.
- Monitor project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring effective use of client funds and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Maintain regular, transparent communication with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure that all project outputs meet client expectations and industry standards through thorough review processes and feedback loops.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Engage early in the sales cycle, advising on and solidifying project budget, schedule, resourcing, and scope.
- Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, resourcing, and scope.
- Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve challenges.
- Monitor and achieve project milestones and deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Assess current and future customer needs and priorities by communicating directly with customers, conducting surveys, or other methods.
- Develop or update project plans for SaaS implementation projects, including information such as project objectives, scope, resource allocations, timeline, implementation actions, and risks.
- Initiate, review, or approve modifications to project plans.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings related to SaaS implementation projects.
- Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Develop implementation plans that include analyses such as cost-benefit or return on investment (ROI).
- Develop and drive project resourcing plans, matching consultant skills and availability to module delivery requirements.
- Perform risk assessments and work closely with clients and internal team members to develop mitigation strategies.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends to drive weekly project summary reporting and project completion retrospectives.
- Ensure all project resources align with and execute a pre-defined project communication plan.
- Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of SaaS implementation projects.
- Monitor the performance of project team members, coaching team members to success, and documenting performance feedback when necessary.
- Coordinate recruitment or selection of project personnel.
- Assign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to project personnel.
- Negotiate with project stakeholders or suppliers to obtain resources or materials.
Education & Experience
- 5+ years of experience managing SaaS implementation projects, preferably with ERP/CRM platforms.
- Direct experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems (implementations, upgrades, or optimisations).
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional project teams (consultants, developers, and client stakeholders) to successful go-lives.
- Experience managing multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Professional Services or Consulting delivery methodologies.
Project Management Skills
- Strong understanding of project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
- Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- PMP and/or Scrum Master certification preferred.
Technical & Functional Knowledge
- Ability to translate complex customer requirements into clear, actionable project tasks.
- Familiarity with SaaS integrations, data migration, and system configuration best practices.
- Understanding of core NetSuite modules preferred.
Communication & Leadership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present to executive stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong leadership and people management skills. Able to motivate, coach, and guide teams toward successful outcomes.
- Skilled at managing client relationships, setting expectations, and addressing challenges proactively.
- Ability to balance customer satisfaction with project scope, timelines, and profitability.
