This international, yet boutique accounting firm specialises in a mix of both domestic, private family groups and international clients. Due to growth, this firm is seeking a head of Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a newly created opportunity due to our client's expansion and their client's requests. Ideally this role is 5 days full-time; however may consider 4 days or shorter days for the right person.

Duties:

  • Clients AP, AR and payroll
  • Reconciliations
  • BAS, IAS
  • Assist clients with Xero, prepare monthly/quarterly P&L, and generally get the accounts ready for the tax team
  • Operate in this fairly flat structure, working with various Managers, Senior Managers and Directors with their clients, yet reporting to the in-house Tax Senior Manager.
  • Review and allocate to the offshore team, working with the offshore team to ensure work is processed on time.

Skills and personal attributes:

  • You will be a career bookkeeper within an accounting firm, with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Have excellent communication
  • Great with multitasking
  • Must be friendly, approachable and professional
