About the Role

As Duty Manager, you'll be a key leader on the floor — driving day-to-day operations, setting the tone for service excellence, and helping to foster a high-performing, positive workplace culture.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and support daily operations across bars, bistro, café, gaming, and function spaces
  • Supervise and mentor front-of-house staff to ensure service excellence and presentation standards
  • Maintain compliance with venue policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage cash handling, incident reporting, and provide on-the-spot leadership during peak trade
  • Deliver a warm, welcoming guest experience and contribute to ongoing venue improvement
  • Work a rotating roster (including opens, mids, closes, weekends, and public holidays) aligned with Club operating hours
  • Learn and apply venue systems and reporting processes on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis

You'll Bring:

  • 2+ years in a similar leadership role within hospitality
  • Current RMLV, RSA, RSG, Approved Managers License, and Police Check
  • Strong people skills and a calm, solutions-focused approach
  • Experience leading teams in high-volume environments
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating 7-day roster
  • Knowledge and experience in hospitality/club operations
  • A willingness to grow and learn
