Up to 3 full-time Crop Farm Workers are required at BTS Packing Shed at Kununurra, Western Australia. Salary $69,000 to AUD $75,000 commensurate with skills and experience.

Duties:

Assist with daily horticultural duties including:

· Picking, packing and grading of melons and pumpkins.
· Keeping records of box and pallet numbers.
· Using a forklift to load and unload fruit pallets and bins.
· Cleaning and maintaining shed infrastructure, forklifts, and grading machine plant.
· Assist with other farm duties such as chipping weeds, tractor operation, and cleaning vehicles and tractors.
· Be actively involved in WHS and adhere to safe work practices at all times.
· Other general farm and shed duties as required.

Essential:

· Have completed secondary school.
· Have at least one year of full-time relevant experience as a Crop Farm Worker.
· Hold a valid Drivers licence.
· Be fit to perform manual work in high temperatures.
· Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
· Be willing to obtain a Police Clearance.
· Be willing to participate drug and alcohol testing if requested by the employer.

Desirable:

· Experience operating tractors.
· Forklift ticket.

Other information:

Crop Farm Workers will work in the regional area of Kununurra, Western Australia. The climate in Kununurra is extreme, often exceeding 40 degrees Celcius with high humidity. Workers must be fit to perform manual labour. Drug and alcohol testing may be conducted, with zero tolerance for intoxication at any time.
