Home and Community Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Home and Community Care Worker to join our friendly and supportive team in Kununurra, regional Western Australia.

As a Home and Community Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care to our community clients, including showering, dressing, and continence care. You will also assist customers with administration of correct medication, domestic duties, meal preparation, and other household tasks to ensure safe and hygienic living conditions in their own homes.

Additionally, you will provide social support, including transport to shops or appointments, and adhere to Client Care Plans.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Current Australian driver's license and reliable car - essential
  • Certificate III Aged Care - desirable
  • Current First Aid certification - desirable
  • Previous experience working in the Community - desirable

You will also need to understand documentation and relevant aged care legislation, as well as principles of Occupational, Safety & Health and correct manual handling.
