About the role
Catalina Retirement Village is seeking a full-time Health & Wellbeing Co-Ordinator (Supported Independent Living) to join our team in Cooranbong, NSW. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our residents within our new Supported Independent Living services. As part of our commitment to providing exceptional care, you will be responsible for coordinating a range of health and lifestyle programs to enhance the quality of life for our residents.
What you'll be doing
- Developing, implementing and evaluating holistic health and wellbeing programs for residents in our supported independent living facilities
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents
- Monitoring and reporting on resident's health and wellbeing, and adapting programs as needed
- Organising and facilitating social, recreational and therapeutic activities to promote active and engaged lifestyles
- Providing guidance and support to residents and their families to enhance their health, independence and quality of life
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements
What we're looking for
- Relevant tertiary qualification in an allied health, nursing or community services discipline
- Extensive experience in a similar role within the aged care or disability support sector
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families and multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing health and wellbeing programs that promote independence and quality of life
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
- Commitment to providing person-centred care and upholding the rights and dignity of vulnerable individuals
