Enhance the Quality of Life for Seniors in Supported Independent Living

  • Develop, implement and evaluate comprehensive health and wellbeing programs for residents in our supported independent living facilities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and support for residents.
  • Monitor and report on resident's health and wellbeing, adapting programs as needed.
  • Organise and facilitate social, recreational and therapeutic activities to promote active and engaged lifestyles.
  • Provide guidance and support to residents and their families to enhance their health, independence and quality of life.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.

Seeking an experienced Health & Wellbeing Co-Ordinator to join our Newcastle-Maitland team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating health and lifestyle programs to improve the quality of life for seniors in our supported independent living services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Develop, implement and evaluate health and wellbeing programs for residents.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report on resident's health and wellbeing, adapting programs as needed.
  • Activity Organisation: Organise and facilitate social, recreational and therapeutic activities to promote active and engaged lifestyles.
  • Family Support: Provide guidance and support to residents and their families to enhance their health, independence and quality of life.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in health and wellbeing or a related field.
  • Experience working with seniors in a supported independent living environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements.
