About the Role:
We are looking for a driven and motivated Skip Trace Investigator to join our growing Tracing Solutions team.

Our office in Macquarie Park, situated in close proximity to public transport hubs and Macquarie University, is a state of the art, purpose designed premises in Sydney's premier technology and business support district.

What you will do:
- Leverage advanced desktop investigation and OSINT expertise to conduct skip tracing in line with all regulatory requirements, company policies, client-specific guidelines, and budget constraints.
- Utilise a broad range of subscription-based databases and open-source intelligence tools to perform targeted searches and inquiries.
- Engage in discreet investigative conversations while strictly adhering to privacy requirements, ethical standards and industry best practices.
- Strategically develop network and contact mapping to support the identification and location of individuals and assets.
- Compile comprehensive investigative reports detailing methodologies, findings, actions taken, and providing well-informed recommendations.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance investigative and reporting practices through process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to coordinate efforts, optimise outcomes, and recommend scope adjustments that drive quality and client satisfaction.
- Maintain and elevate client satisfaction through consistent, professional communication and service delivery.
What will help you succeed:
- Proven experience in skip tracing, field investigations, or related investigative or commercial agent roles.
- Hold a current NSW Security Industry Private Investigator Licence.
- Confidence in initiating investigative conversations via telephone.
- Strong knowledge of the regulatory framework governing investigative and commercial agent activities.
- Skill in preparing detailed investigative reports that clearly outline methodologies, findings, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Be highly client-focused, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure and proactively address client needs.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Due to the sensitive nature of this role, criminal history and reference checks will be conducted, however this will not affect your ability to apply.
Essential criteria:
Availability to work full time, Monday to Friday based out of our Macquarie Park office.
