The Uniting Church in the City (UCIC) is a not-for-profit organisation located in the heart of Perth's CBD, bringing together a wide range of community outreach initiatives. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced HR & Payroll Coordinator to join our supportive team on a part-time basis (0.4FTE).

About the Role

As our HR & Payroll Coordinator, you will be the go-to person for managing day-to-day Human Resources and payroll functions. This includes everything from coordinating recruitment processes and maintaining accurate personnel records to ensuring timely and precise payroll processing.

Your Key Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To:

  • Managing end-to-end payroll processing and reconciliation using MYOB AccountRight

  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding activities

  • Implementing and maintaining HR policies and documentation

  • Keeping accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking someone who is proactive, organised, and people-focused, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. You'll bring:

  • 2–3 years' experience in a similar HR/payroll role

  • Proficiency in MYOB AccountRight and Microsoft Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills

  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary qualification in Human Resources or Accounting/Bookkeeping (or currently studying towards one)

Additional Requirements:

  • A genuine alignment with the ethos and values of the Uniting Church in Australia

  • A current National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one
