Courtyard by Marriott Brisbane South Bank is looking for a Sales and Conference Manager to join our team on a Full-Time basis.

What you'll do:

  • Develop exciting new business opportunities whilst consistently achieving sales targets
  • Establish requirements, quotes and negotiate prices for new clients
  • Seamlessly seal the deal, contracting new business
  • Participate in tradeshows, conventions and promotional events
  • Maintain accounts, contacts, activity and business details
  • Be the face of The Courtyard Brisbane South Bank
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the General Manager.

Your experience and skills include:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Sales Management role, with strong exposure to Group, Conference & Events Sales as well as broad understanding of other segments
  • Relevant and recent sales experience in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne
  • Motivated and driven to succeed
  • Able to work independently and remotely
  • Highly responsible and reliable, being able to achieve tasks efficiently, accurately and promptly
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Outstanding personal presentation and style
  • Willingness to travel frequently, within Australia
