We are on the lookout for a passionate and dynamic 
Conference & Events Sales Executive
 to join our vibrant Sales & Marketing team. If you love turning events into seamless, show-stopping experiences, this is the perfect opportunity for you

About the Role

As our Conference & Events Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for managing and coordinating events, from initial enquiry through to payment and post-event feedback. Your role will ensure that Amora Hotel Brisbane continues to provide the highest level of service, with every event being planned and executed to perfection. If you're passionate about event coordination and delivering top-notch service in a world-class hotel, we want to hear from you

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate events with precision, ensuring every detail is flawlessly executed and service exceeds expectations.
  • Prepare and distribute BEO's with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all departments are aligned for a seamless experience.
  • Oversee event accounts and manage payments efficiently, ensuring smooth transactions and financial accuracy.
  • Conduct client site inspections like a pro, building strong relationships and ensuring the venue matches their vision.
  • Understand client needs and proactively identify opportunities to upsell, ensuring every event exceeds expectations and drives revenue.

What We're Looking For

You'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have established experience in Conference and Event Organisation within a 4- or 5-star hotel or the events industry.
  • Are highly skilled in administration, with a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Have experience with hotel operating systems such as Opera Cloud.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Can work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
