About the role
As an experienced Production Estimator you will oversee numerous aspects within Estimating, working closely with Sales, Operations and Construction for our Inner Urban business.
You will be responsible for;
- Production Estimating of KDRB client jobs including take offs, requesting quotes and finalising quotes from trades and suppliers
- Experience in ordering single storey and double storey customised homes preferable.
- Current working knowledge of the Residential Building Code and Australian Standards (BCA) / (NCC) required.
- Analytical skills and competency reading architectural plans, engineering reports and soil reports.
- Strong numerical skills, high attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communicator & Team Player.
- Ability to proactively problem solve and troubleshoot.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes and additional information as required.
- Liaising with Site Managers with queries on jobs.
- Knowledge of Databuild and excel a must.
- Provide reports and workflow documentation as appropriate.
- Follow up documentation directed by the Estimating Manager.
About you

We anticipate that you will already possess strong experience within the construction industry specifically within Production Estimating. Essential for this opportunity – within the residential building space, you will possess a high level across certain software packages including DataBuild, TrueView/Blue Beam (Or similar), Framework, Click Homes Microsoft Office (Excel).
You will deliver with a mature approach, calm and efficiency. Working in a fun team, you will have a sense of humour. You will be able to prioritise with ease and deliver time critical outcomes amid numerous distractions and demands.
