As the **Head of IT Delivery**, you will play a critical role in overseeing the delivery, management and optimisation of Myer’s technology solutions, with the purpose of delivering outstanding outcomes and experiences for all stakeholders, at the most cost-effective level. You will lead and evolve Myer IT’s project governance and advisory function and serve as a primary Myer IT interface into the Myer Executive Leadership Team, and across the organisation.

A master communicator, you will lead collaborative planning activities across the organisation, continuously communicating program and project status.

**About the role**:

- Lead and motivate the IT Delivery team members to enable the continual development and improvement of a professional and customer focused IT Delivery function, ensuring a positive and engaging team culture
- Establish and maintain demand management practices to maximise, but not exceed, productivity from available resources, identify the need for additional resource capacity and expertise to support project outcomes
- Liaise with a broad range of stakeholders to help ensure that delivery roadmaps are prioritized and aligned with the tactical and strategic needs of the organisation
- Ensure consistent and effective governance and delivery of the portfolio of IT related business projects
- Define and evolve Myer’s IT project delivery frameworks and standards to ensure consistent, effective, and repeatable delivery of IT programs and projects
- Define and implement processes to ensure the delivery of all programs of work are delivered in compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements regarding technology and data governance, processes, security, privacy etc
- Successfully identify and implement necessary project recovery processes for project crisis situations when required
- Assist in the development of business cases, quarterly financial planning processes, and provision of accurate project cost estimates
- Oversee project ‘health checks’ to ensure IT projects are delivered in alignment with the organisation’s enterprise architecture, strategy, and project management methodologies
- Whenever possible ensure consideration of, and alignment to, Myer’s Customer First strategy.

**About you**:

- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse range of project and delivery resources, including capacity to develop high performing teams and effectively lead change
- Superior knowledge of Lean/Agile delivery methodologies and frameworks
- At least ten years of leadership experience leading IT PMOs, delivering large and complex IT or digital portfolios, programs, or projects. At least five years of retail experience desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in a related technology area such as Information Systems, or Computer Science highly desirable
- Professional certifications in Project Management fields highly desirable such as PMP, Certified Scrum Master, Scaled Agile Framework for the Enterprise (SAFe), Professional Scrum Master, PRINCE2 Practitioner
- Ability to prepare materials using clear and concise language including the ability to tailor communications to meet the needs of a diverse audience from the Executive Leadership Team to the most junior IT team members. A clear and confident presenter.
- Highly proficient in defining and managing technology project budgets. Very strong knowledge of accounting concepts. Strong experience developing IT business cases and capex requests
- Excellent liaison skills including the ability to negotiate, clarify requirements and gain agreement to proposals and ideas
- Proven ability to work well with others in the pursuit of team goals, ultimately showing consideration, respect and encouragement for the ideas and contributions of team members
