About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to to lead the deployment of our entire platform services products for our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the project lifecycle, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery, and meeting client expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing IT projects, specifically in the security domain, strong communication and organization skills. This person will work closely with the technical team, sales, and customer stakeholders to plan, execute, and monitor project progress.
What You'll Do:
- Manage the project lifecycle, from pre-kickoff to closure, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation plans, and project schedules to ensure successful project execution
- Create project collateral and artifacts to build an effective project management practice.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements, gather project information, and provide project updates.
- Lead and manage a team of technical resources, including engineers and consultants, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop contingency plans to ensure project success.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, product, and support teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with industry best practices, and that clients receive high-quality services.
- Conduct project post-implementation reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to improve future project delivery.
What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of experience in managing IT projects, specifically in the security domain.
- Strong understanding of cyber security solutions, including their architecture, functionality, and implementation.
- Proven experience in managing projects using standard methodologies, including waterfall and Agile.
- Excellent project management skills, including project planning, risk management, and team management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients, technical teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Valid working rights within Australia.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with various cyber security solutions such as cloud, identity, exposure management, etc.
- Certification in project management, such as PMP
- Experience with cloud-based SIEM solutions
