About the role

Join our vibrant team at Ampersand Home & Geelong Outdoor Furniture as a part-time or full-time Sales Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales to contribute to the overall success of our retail operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greet and assist customers in a friendly and approachable manner
  2. Maintain an organised and visually appealing store environment
  3. Actively promote and sell our range of quality products
  4. Operate the cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
  5. Restock and replenish shelves as needed
  6. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
  7. Adhere to all company policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a customer service or retail sales role
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Excellent time management and organisational abilities
  4. A passion for providing exceptional customer experiences
  5. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  6. A team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  7. Previous furniture sales desirable, but not required
