Be the primary point of contact for our customers across any of our 5 current display homes across the Geelong & Bellarine Region and assist in generating and administering sales opportunities.

Our client, Hamlan Homes, is a well-established Geelong-based business that design and build some of the most stunning residential properties in the region. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Associate to join their sales team selling the Hamlan and Geelong homes brands and drive sales via customer engagement across our local growth corridor.

Hamlan Homes are looking for a dedicated and dependable sales and administration support professional capable of working during the week and on weekends. You will be responsible for being an initial contact for customers visiting their various display homes. This is a role that requires a meticulously presented, customer oriented, and forward-thinking person that will be working closely with, and be relied on, by on-site Sales Consultants for administrative support.

What you will be doing:

  • Delivering the Sales Consultants customer administration support with exceptional organisational and planning skills
  • Coordinating the administration workflow process, of multiple clients
  • Assisting clients with the mark-up of plans
  • Assisting with the preparation of final presentation and quotes as required
  • Nurturing potential relationships and qualifying leads
  • Working collaboratively across the Hamlan Homes team
  • Assisting with report preparation and collation
  • Assisting with Client Database and lead management
  • Assisting the Sales Consultant to meet & greet all persons entering the display home
  • Preparation of display centre prior to and post opening hours

What we are looking for:

  • Must be available to work over the weekend (with Thursday and Friday as days off).
  • A sales administrator who loves what they do
  • Outstanding organisational, communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Acute attention to detail with a passion for excellence
  • Strong negotiation skills with a 'can do' attitude to achieve results
  • Self-motivated, reliable, analytical and thrives in a collaborative, fast paced and creative environment
  • Astute and fast learner
  • Appreciation for residential construction, or construction industry knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Reliable, team player, enjoys working with a vibrant and passionate team

Do you have:

  • Previous sales and business administration experience
  • Sales database management experience
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • A passion for customer service
  • A current Driver's License to travel between displays homes and the office
