About the Position

As the business continues to expand and onboard new investment structures, an opportunity has been created for an Assistant Accountant to join the team. This newly created position will work closely with the Finance Manager to support all aspects of financial operations across multiple entities and trusts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing month-end reports and reconciliations
  • Managing tax and compliance obligations including BAS and trust accounting
  • Assisting with financial modelling and forecasting
  • Processing invoices, managing transactional accounting and performing bank reconciliations
  • Supporting external audits and liaising with advisors
  • Contributing to process improvement and system optimisation initiatives

About You

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented accounting professional with a commercial mindset. You will bring:

  • 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • CA or CPA qualification (or progress towards)
  • Strong Excel and systems capability
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to get involved in a broad range of tasks
  • Clear communication skills and an interest in working in a growing investment environment
