This role will be based at Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal (DBCT).

We're looking for an experienced and hands-on Civil Site Supervisor with a trade background to lead our site teams and deliver projects safely, on time and to the highest standard, all while staying local to Mackay.


Key Responsibilities

You'll be responsible for:

  • Supervising all aspects of concrete services and repairs — including remediation, concrete demolition, reinstatement and structural strengthening
  • Overseeing civil works from mobilisation to handover
  • Leading, mentoring & managing crews and Leading Hands
  • Driving safety and enforcing WHS standards on site
  • Coordinating subcontractors, plant hire & suppliers
  • Managing schedules, progress reporting & issue resolution
  • Maintaining accurate site documentation & daily reports
  • Liaising with engineers, clients & stakeholders to keep works on track
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, within scope, time & budget

What We're Looking For

  • Trade qualification in civil construction or related field (preferable)
  • 5+ years in a Supervisor or Leading Hand role within civil construction (concrete experience highly regarded)
  • Strong knowledge of WHS, QA & environmental standards
  • Confident in reading/interpreting engineering plans & specifications
  • Excellent communication, leadership & problem-solving skills
  • Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • White Card & current Driver's Licence (mandatory)

(Civil construction or project management qualifications beyond trade level are highly regarded.)
