Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Employment Lawyer (Junior, 1-2 years PQE) at Voice Lawyers, located in Sydney, NSW. You will be responsible for drafting and reviewing employment contracts, advising on labor and employment law matters, representing clients in employment tribunal cases, and handling labor disputes. The role also involves drafting legal advice on various employment-related issues and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will need excellent research and drafting skills and be able to engage with clients in a professional manner.

Qualifications

  • Law degree and admission to practice law in NSW
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing Employment Contracts, court documents and submissions
  • Knowledge in Labor and Employment Law
  • Experience in representing clients at Employment Tribunals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and superior attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and be self motivated
  • Experience with time based billing and highly organised.
