Safe Environments is a dynamic, multi-specialist consultancy supporting the building, construction, and property management industries. Our experts work across building materials, ergonomics, occupational hygiene, and health & safety — helping create safer workplaces and communities.
We are seeking an Office Administrator to play a key role in supporting our growing team at our Norwest office.
About the roleThis is a hands-on position where you'll be at the centre of our daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Professional customer service, managing phone enquiries and sample receipt
- Preparing quotes, reports, and invoices to support projects and expert work
- Maintaining quality manuals, procedures, and ISO 9001 documentation
- Assisting with accounts receivable/payable and financial administration
- Providing general office and team support
- Coordinating compliance and accreditation activities
We're looking for someone with:
- Previous experience in administration, ideally in a professional services, legal or consultancy setting
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, reliable work ethic and ability to support multiple consultants
- Enthusiasm to learn and grow
For the right candidate, this role also offers an exciting springboard into the health & safety profession. You'll gain exposure to occupational hygiene, ergonomics, and quality systems, with opportunities to develop your knowledge and potentially grow into technical or consulting roles over time.
At Safe Environments, you'll not just be doing admin — you'll be supporting work that makes a real difference to safety, compliance, and wellbeing across industries.
We receive a lot of interest in joining our team, and we'd love to hear your story.
When applying, please include:
- Your resume, and
- A cover letter explaining why you are passionate about health & safety, and how you can contribute to Safe Environments.
Applications without a cover letter will not be reviewed.
