CLS is seeking a full-time, motivated and service-oriented Roster Coordinator to join our team in Bundaberg. This is a fast-paced role working in a busy office environment and your job is to ensure that the right people are at the right place at the right time. If you are a confident and resilient problem solver, who greets the daily challenges of rostering with good humour, then we want you to join our fun and friendly team.
This position will be providing rostering and administrative support to the staff for Community, Skills Campus and Supported Independent Living (SIL). You will be responsible for the allocation of our most critical resource, our people, ensuring our clients have appropriate staffing to fulfil CLS' client support requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the roster for Community, Skills Campus and SIL staff, and assist with the management of the support workers workforce using the rostering program.
- Liaise with the Service Delivery Managers, develop and manage rosters as per client's needs, ensuring correct skill mix.
- Monitor staff availability and attendance, including coordination of shift replacements for scheduled and unscheduled leave, and reporting on excess unscheduled leave.
- Monitor staff holiday relief needs, including casual staff levels and advise the Service Delivery Managers of recruitment needs in a timely manner.
- Ensure rosters for all sites are accurate.
- Assist management in resolving any rostering issues.
- Other duties that are consistent with the position where required and/or requested by CLS Management from time to time.
- May be required to participate in the on-call roster.
Mandatory Knowledge and Experience:
- Have previous rostering experience and/or a strong admin background.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Have a strong ability to manage the competing demands of a busy environment, prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines.
- Have demonstrated attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
- Have the ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Have a positive, empathetic, helpful approach and able to work within a confidential environment.
- Be solution-focused, flexible and able to find alternative solutions.
- Demonstrate confidentiality and awareness of diversity and sensitive issues.
- Possess great customer care skills, and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.

- Current Blue Card
- Current Driver's License
