Description

  • Manage and process accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain and update the debtor report provided by CES, ensuring clear, up-to-date notes for the wider team
  • Prepare and send invoices to stakeholders in line with agreed timelines
  • Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure payments are received within trading terms
  • Suggest payment plan options and provide recommendations for bad debt write-offs when necessary
  • Reconcile bank accounts and the AR ledger to ensure accuracy
  • Collaborate closely with the Commercial team to ensure all FRS submit accurate and timely reporting
  • Assist in preparing financial reports related to AR activities
  • Support the Accounting & Finance team with general bookkeeping tasks
  • Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Respond to AR-related queries from both internal and external stakeholders
  • Uphold WHS policies and procedures, taking reasonable care for your own safety and contributing to a safe and healthy workplace

Profile

A successful Bookkeeper (AR Focused) should have:

  • Previous experience in accounts receivable or bookkeeping roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • An ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with stakeholders.
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
