Key Responsibilities:

As a Rostering & Quality Officer you will:

Rostering & Scheduling

  • Maintain staff rosters to meet participant needs and goals.
  • Manage shift allocations, replacements, cancellations, and urgent roster changes.
  • Communicate roster updates promptly to staff and participants.

Compliance & Quality Oversight

  • Review and monitor support worker shift notes for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Identify gaps or inconsistencies in documentation and follow up with staff.
  • Ensure incident reports are recorded, escalated, and closed off as per policy.
  • Support preparation for audits and compliance reviews.
  • Ensure only compliant staff are rostered for participant shifts.
  • Support the induction process by ensuring documentation is received and filed.

Communication & Service Coordination

  • Act as a key contact for participants and families regarding rosters and service delivery queries.
  • Provide support to frontline staff with rostering, reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Liaise with managers to identify gaps in service delivery or workforce capability.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
