Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Quality officer to work on data analysis, remediation, and management activities related to the Student Management and CRM ecosystems. We are seeking an experienced data quality officer who can be immediately productive and is highly proficient in the analysis and management of data quality, with a particular focus on the University's Student and Customer Relationship Management systems. The role will require experience with data migration and large-scale data sets, and effective communication with both the business and team members across IT.

Key Skills & Experience


• Experience with management of data quality, including root cause analysis of reported issues and identifying changes to data & processes to remediate and improve data quality.


•Significant experience working with large volumes of data, with a focus on data quality, data analysis, and reporting.


• Substantial experience working with highly integrated and complex IT ecosystems comparable with that of the university, with an emphasis on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms such as Oracle Service or Sales Cloud.


• Advanced experience working with Microsoft Office and the Microsoft 365 suite of tools, particularly in relation to the representation of data and for communications.


• Demonstrated experience working with business users to refine requirements and design solutions to meet their needs.


• Demonstrated ability to quickly become a productive member of a cross-functional team through effective communication and collaboration.


• Demonstrated skills in personal time management and the ability to work independently, maintaining high productivity with minimum supervision. Key Qualifications


• Relevant tertiary qualification (normally a degree) or equivalent professional information technology experience in a large organisation comparable with the University.

Desirable Skills, Experience, or Qualifications


• Previous Higher Education experience.


• Experience with technical tools used to interact with relational databases such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.

Special Conditions


• Standard eight (8) hour day / forty (40) hour week.


• Timesheets must be submitted weekly.


• Temporary worker (or Supplier) to provide their own device (laptop).


• Minimum 2 days per week on site, as agreed with Hiring Manager.


• Participation in a rotating on-call roster, including after hours and weekends, is required for this role.
