Established in 2000, ARH Homebush is part of a long-established and leading group of Specialist and Emergency Veterinary Hospitals located throughout Australia.   

As the founding hospital of the ARH Network, and the largest site in our ARH Sydney group the hospital has an incredible legacy and exciting, growth focused, future.   

The hospital boasts MRI, CT, a dedicated Critical Care Unit, sterile surgeries, multiple treatment spaces as well as teaching and training spaces.  We provide the highest quality specialist services including medicine, surgery, anaesthesia, ophthalmology and critical care as well as offering 24-hour emergency care. Job Description

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Business Manager to join our leadership team. This is a key role that blends strategic thinking with hands-on operational oversight. You'll work closely with shareholders, specialist and general veterinarians, nurses, technical staff, and support teams to drive business performance and foster a thriving workplace culture.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing financial leadership, including reporting, P&L oversight, and annual budgeting
  • Leading and nurturing high-performing teams of veterinarians and nurses
  • Managing hospital projects and initiatives
  • Driving strategic planning and execution
  • Building strong relationships with referring veterinarians
  • Coordinating marketing and promotional activities
  • Collaborating with other hospital managers to align goals and optimise efficiency, profitability, and productivity
  • Supporting the growth of a multi-site, vertically integrated veterinary network.

Qualifications

We're looking for a dynamic and approachable leader with strong business acumen and a genuine desire to help others succeed. You'll bring proven experience in business operations - ideally within the animal or human healthcare industries - and a track record of effective leadership.

Postgraduate qualifications in business, commerce, management, or a related field will be highly regarded.
