Our client is a dynamic, fast-growing national law firm. The Sydney office has a newly created role for a Property Conveyancer.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Conveyancer to take ownership of a broad variety of NSW property transactions. You'll manage matters through every stage—from contract review and preparation, to negotiation, settlement, and final registration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review purchaser contracts, identifying and addressing potential legal risks.
  • Draft and prepare vendor contracts incorporating appropriate special conditions.
  • Oversee transactions independently using PEXA.
  • Lodge duty applications through EDR/eDuties.
  • Prepare and register dealings with NSW LPI (such as leases, transfers, and mortgages).
  • Coordinate the execution of documents via DocuSign and manage all associated registrations.
  • Perform identity verification using InfoTrack.
  • Manage file openings and closings, conflict checks, invoicing, and payment processing.

About You

You're a capable and self-driven Conveyancer who thrives on managing matters independently while knowing when to seek legal input. You take pride in accuracy, efficiency, and client service.

You'll Bring

  • Solid experience running conveyancing matters from start to finish.
  • Strong working knowledge of PEXA and NSW LPI requirements.
  • Excellent drafting and contract review skills.
  • Familiarity with Revenue NSW duty processes.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A collaborative, team-focused approach with a can-do attitude.
