We are currently seeking an experienced Conveyancer or Graduate Solicitor to join the new team at Dilan Lawyers. As a newly established law firm focused on delivering high-quality legal services to the property sector in NSW, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and building lasting relationships with our clients.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who is looking to grow with the firm and be part of its development from the ground up. We are looking for a motivated individual who is ready to start immediately and contribute to our vision of excellence and innovation in property law.


Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of residential and commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases, and transfers.
  • Conduct thorough title searches and ensure accurate and efficient completion of all legal paperwork.
  • Maintain communication with clients, developers, real estate agents, financial institutions, and other relevant parties throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Provide advice and guidance on property-related legal matters, such as contracts, zoning laws, and stamp duty.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts of sale, leases, and mortgage agreements.
  • Provide paralegal support to solicitors.
  • Attend settlement meetings, ensuring the transfer of necessary funds and compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Stay updated on legislation and regulations pertaining to conveyancing in NSW.

Requirements:
  • Preferably at least 1 year of conveyancing experience.
  • In-depth understanding of NSW property laws, regulations, and conveyancing processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and review.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using conveyancing software and relevant technology tools.
  • Relevant qualifications in Conveyancing or Law.
  • Diploma of Conveyancing, Law degree, or Licensed Conveyancer certification in NSW.
  • Experience with PEXA (Property Exchange Australia) for electronic settlements.
