Townsville Ally Fab is a vibrant, locally owned aluminium fabrication workshop located in Currajong, Townsville. We're excited to welcome a Full-Time Administration Assistant to our growing team, providing key administrative support to help drive our success.

You'll receive on-the-job training to help you thrive in this role, and we're looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to keep the office running smoothly.
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and organizing documents.
  • Support the team with customer inquiries and internal communications.
  • Help with general office tasks and ensure that everything is well-maintained and efficient.

Key responsibilities as an Administration Assistant

· Meet and greet all visitors with a friendly and courteous manner

· Take responsibility for front reception presentation

· General office administration duties

· Answering phones, taking messages with accurate notes

· Assist estimating and management teams with a variety of administrative tasks

· Daily data entry with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, Xero and Trak Programs

· Perform errands and deliveries to both clients and suppliers outside of the office when required

Knowledge, skills and qualifications

· Organisational and time management skills

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Strong numeracy and literacy skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy

· Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel preferred

· Knowledge and experience with Xero preferred

· Ability to work independently as well as working effectively in a team with fellow workers

· Willingness to become familiar with Workplace, Health and Safety legislation

· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment

· Hold a 'C' Class Drivers Licence
