About the Company:

We are a commercial joinery company based in Wetherill Park who services projects all up the East Coast of Australia. Our work consists predominately of larger office fit outs with a good variety of education, Medical, Aged care, Dental and Vets in the mix.

We show consistent growth in the company and are looking to build up our team to achieve more in the following years to come.

The Position:

We are looking for a Joinery Estimator to join our team. The position requires someone with a strong joinery background.

Your role as Estimator is important to Nouva. All our quotes are delivered on time and effective use of our quoting system is vital to our success. Your job keeps the sales moving whilst running ahead of the game.

You would work closely with the Senior Estimator, ensuring our quoting and customer service is of the highest quality. Have your eyes on quality as well as value and consistency. You know what to look out for day to day, so you spot problems and allowances ahead of time.

You Can:

  • Work closely with the Senior Estimator, ensuring our quoting and customer service is of the highest quality and consistent throughout the estimating team.
  • Report accurately to the Head of Sales and you have great relationship with the Sales Rep and the Estimating Team
  • Discuss detail and allowances with Senior Estimator / Head of Sales to ensure the quality and details are captured correctly. Discussing with Clients as required.
  • Work seamlessly across multiple projects autonomously
  • Provide detailed breakdown of scope and allowances for the project and production team
  • Keep a consistent high level of accuracy and confidentiality whist preparing tenders

You Have:

  • Proven experience in Estimating for a commercial joinery setting
  • A relevant qualification in the Joinery, Estimating or Project Management within the industry
  • Excellent knowledge of Joinery materials, pricing and industry standards
  • Able to read and interpret detailed architectural drawings
  • Great people skills when dealing with Clients, Suppliers and industry experts
  • A "No detail or allowance get past me" attitude
