The role:

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Commercial Estimator to manage estimating and pricing activities across a range of intelligent transport systems (ITS) projects throughout Australia and New Zealand. You will play a critical role in developing cost effective and competitive estimates to secure new projects and support successful business growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

· Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for each solution/portfolio of Yunex Traffic.

· Prepare pricing documentation and submit bids in line with client requirements and deadlines.

· Review and interpret RFP (Request for Proposal) documents to assess project requirements and constraints.

· Obtain competitive quotes from suppliers and subcontractors and evaluate them based on technical and commercial criteria

· Identify cost, schedule and risks during the estimation phase and recommend mitigation strategies.

· Actively collaborate with cross functional teams during the bid and handover phases.

· Ensure all estimates comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, Yunex company policies and procedures

· Ensure all required approvals are received in accordance with Yunex LoA (Limits of Authority) prior to bid submission.

· Provide feedback and lessons learned to the Yunex Management team and key departments.

The successful candidate demonstrates following experience & skills:

· Education / University degree in a related commercial and/or technical field

· Previous experience in cost estimation, preferably in ITS or related industries.

· Familiarity with ITS components and technologies

· Proficiency in excel. Power BI knowledge will be beneficial.

· Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.

· Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills
