About the Role
The purpose of this role is to assist in the coordination, administration and delivery of CCIWA's event and conference activities. You will work closely with the Events Coordinator, using your strong communication and customer service skills to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be driven by your organisational abilities, learning mindset, and enthusiasm for developing your career in events administration.
This is a full-time, maximum term contract based in the Perth CBD office, until December 18th
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative support to the Events Coordinator in the development and delivery of timely, engaging, proactive events and conferences that are aligned to CCIWA's strategic and financial goals.
- Assist the Events Coordinator to identify and activate new ways of delivering events and conferences to reach a wider audience and drive member engagement and new member acquisition.
- Support collaboration with the Marketing team to ensure consistent brand alignment across all event materials and communications.
- Work collaboratively within the events team to support planning discussions, contribute ideas, and assist with problem-solving as required.
- Work with the Marketing team to ensure brand alignment is consistent for events.
- Manage administrative tasks such as cost coding, process invoices, and maintain stock of necessary materials (e.g., labels, drinks).
- Other administrative tasks as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will also have:
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in event management.
- Proven success in a similar role.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Sound written and editing skills.
- Sound computing skills.
