About the role

Part time permanent position 3 days/week based in Perth, WA. Reporting directly to the Team Leader Client Services you will be responsible for:

  • Attending and facilitating Memory Lane Cafes
  • Coordinating arrangements such as entertainment and activity bookings, catering and venue hire for these events
  • Preparing and managing correspondence for these events, including sending invitations, receiving replies, answering queries
  • Data entry of client information into databases
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships with both internal and external partners including volunteers, clients, external suppliers and community partners
  • Valid driver's licence required

About you

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

  1. Qualification in Business Administration or Event Management (Preferred)
  2. Demonstrated experience in a similar administration role with an event management focus
  3. General understanding of dementia (preferred)
  4. Fosters teamwork by working together and cooperatively
  5. Builds, fosters and sustains relationships (internally and externally)
  6. Understands and uses available technologies and information to maximise efficiencies
  7. Uses effective time management skills to plan, evaluate and organise work demands
  8. Thinks and analyses information to understand issues
